I am looking for any info on Carl Hansen born in Norway abt. 1887 + immigrated to US abt. 1908 settling in the McKeesport, Pittsburgh, PA area. Parents were Christian + Doris. Carl Hansen married Selma Anderson who immigrated from Sweden abt. 1908. Unsure when they married.

The 1920 US census finds Carl Hansen living in Alleghany County, Pennsylvania. Wife Selma and children Ruth, Edith and Clifford.

Did Carl's US naturalization or immigration record indicate which Norwegian port he departed from?

This might be wrong; but at Ellis Island I found this man:

First Name: Carl
Last Name: Hansen
Ethnicity: Scand. Norway
Last Place of Residence: Christian, Norway
Date of Arrival: Aug 28, 1908
Age at Arrival: 21y Gender: M Marital Status: S
Ship of Travel: Baltic
Port of Departure: Liverpool
Manifest Line Number: 0003

I haven't found his manifest yet; it might be a "missing one".

However; you write: "Parents were Christian + Doris."
Did they imigrate too??

If you think that this is your correct Carl in 1908, you can search for the police protocols for his departure:

It would give information on residence, place of birth.

I have been searching at ALL available Emigrant Records.
The only plavce where I found some possible persons is from Oslo (Christiania):

The one who's going to Boston is interesting; the problem is the departure time - to early I think.

At all the other emigrant cities I found a couple "interesting" persons too; but the destination for all of them was the Mid West.
