Could someone check the 1900 census for Crawford County, Wisconsin? I am looking for the household of Edward (1860-1952) and Carrie Haugen, who had a farm in Freeman Township, sec. 30 and 31 in Crawford County. Thanks in advance!

I don't think he is your Edward from Ringebu:

Rootsweb

In the 1900 census, in Freeman, Crawford Cty., WI
Ed. Haugen, born December 1860, born Norway, immigrated 1868
Carrie, born August 1863, born Norway, immigrated 1870, 1 child, 1 living
Alma N., born June 1895, Wisconsin
Agable, Mother, born Norway, May 1831, Widowed, 9 children/5 living, immigrated 1870

In 1910 they are in the same place, Edward immigrating in 1859.

No, you're right. The information doesn't fit, but I'm very happy you checked on this, so we can eliminate him! Thanks again!
