I believe this might be Lauritz birth record....#4, born Laurius Johan Pauli on 9 Feb 1846 to Hans Nil Johannesen and Christiana.

I have found quite a few christiane's in my family that changed or "americanized" (in my case) their names to christine! Definitely not uncommon!
I am unsure about that birth record for Lauritz, tho, because in the 1900 census it shows birth year as 1849, but in the 1865 census it was 1847. Investigation needed! |

In the 1865 census
Here is Christiane Jørgensdatter b 1814 in Buksnes on the Farm Skotnæs, with her children, Arnt Hansen b 1841, Haagen b 1843, Lauritz b 1847, Frantz b 1852, Hilde b 1855

Here is Emil Hansen b 1874 living on the Leirosen nordre farm, working as a fisherman.
