Niels Bendixen My Great Great Great Grandfather was Niels Bendixen who was born in Denmark in 1799. I know that he was a merchant vessel owner and Captain. He sold the ship in the Spring of 1864. He was married to Martha Buck from Denmark. My Niels died in Iowa in 1881.
I am trying to find out if Captain Niels Bendixen who was the Captain listed for "The Juno" ship in 1849 was the same man. Any assistance would be appreciated.
