Andrew Strand , birth year about 1855, came to America in 1887. His wife Margaret Strand, birth year about 1851, came to America in 1901. I can't find anything. You helped me with the Solo side of my family. Now I am trying to find somethind about my mothers side.

Olaus Kleven, born Nov. 21, 1867, Vestre Gauadal, Norway (my grandfather)

Susanna Strand Kleven born Oct. 23, 1877, Sather Bjonor, Namsos, Norway. (my grandmother)
I've spent hours online and can't find anything. Hope you can help me.
Sincerely,
Becky Brandt

Could it be?

http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=23&filnamn=EMITROND&gardpostnr=55696&merk=55696#ovre

Dep. port Trondheim, 10 years old Susanna and her father Anders Strand in 1888, ticket paid for in USA, both born in Flatanger, neighbour municipalty to Namsos. Flatatager is a country-side and Namsos was the nearest town.

You probably realize that spelling of these locations you have is a great deal of your challenge.

It is highly likely that "Olaus Kleven, born Nov. 21, 1867, Vestre Gauadal, Norway" is from Gausdal district of Oppland, Norway. The 1865 census shows Kleven farms in Gausdal - but of course cannot indicate the later birth of Olaus (father's name unknown). For that check the online digitized parishs records - most likely would be the Oppland fylke, Gausdal, Ministerialbok nr. 9 (1862-1873). Sometimes dates and name spellings can also vary from what family records have passed down so be prepared to find some variance.
You might need more information from America before you'll be able to match him in Norwegian records - when did he emigrated to America? do you have names of any other of his immediate family?

Kleven farm must have been located within the Svatsum parish of Gausdal district, Oppland. See record #32 among the birth/baptisms in that parish for 1867 -
Olaus' baptism

That record lists his father as Ole Gunderson, mother as Else Olsdtr (or similar) so we can now check the 1865 census on the Kleven farms in Gausdal -- Yes, that couple already with a large number of children living on a Kleven farm in Gausdal's "Svadsums" parish --

Ander J. Strand alias Andrew Strand who emigrated with his daughter in 1888 is Anders Johansen from Vikstrand, see #26 here http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=2815&idx_id=2815&uid=ny&idx_side=-175
His family came to Fladanger from Bjørnør in May 1886. Anders who was a fisherman was married to Peternella Margrethe Petersdatter and had two daughters, Susanna and Rebekka.
From the marriage record #10 here http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=6497&idx_id=6497&uid=ny&idx_side=-312 Anders was born at Overhalla and his father was Johan Andersen. Peternella was born at Sved and her father was Petter Rasmusen.
Susanna was baptized at home by Jacob Larsen, Sæter, see birth record #43 here http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=6497&idx_id=6497&uid=ny&idx_side=-170
Rebekkas birth record, #17 here http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=6499&idx_id=6499&uid=ny&idx_side=-36

Found Peternellas birth record #64 here http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=2387&idx_id=2387&uid=ny&idx_side=-43
Mother was Siri Pedersdatter.
At the 1865 census Peternella was a servant at the Ramsø farm, see http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=18&filnamn=f61632&gardpostnr=135&personpostnr=879&merk=879#ovre
