Looking for Family Hansen (or Hanssen). Two sisters who came to Brooklyn NY (Margaret and Grace) Margaret got married and had four sons, the first was born in the year 1914.
Her husband was a Brooklyn Long Shore man. I'm told that Margaret was petiet. Possibly her father was named Alfred. In any event her father (before WW1, before the Kaiser) was supposed to be known as the "Dairy king of Norway). I did already look through the Ellis Island records and could not confirm any possibilities. I did learn that Kristiania is now called Oslo. Thank you for any help that you may offer.
I was a late child and all my elders have passed. I was bred in south Brooklyn and live in CA now.

Hi Tami, I wish I knew their birthdays and/or their departure dates, or the ship dates. I believe Margaret was in her twenties when she arrived. She got married and had her first child in 1914. I know almost nothing about them. All my elders are dead and I could find no records. Thank you.....Frnako ...

Ok, I found the 1920 census for Brooklyn....Joseph Reilly 45 yrs born in Ireland, emigrated abt 1909, wife Margaret 30 yrs born in Norway, emigrated abt 1907, and 3 sons. So, at least I found the correct people! Now we know an approx birthdate of 1890 for Margaret....that's a start!

In the 1930 census, their last name is listed as Oreilly, with all 4 boys.

Tami
