I am wondering if there is a farm with the name Moan anywhere in Norway and if any info can be found on any of the family members emigrating to America at any point in history.

There are lots of Moan farms....Sør-Trøndelag, Nord-Trøndelag, and Hedmark.

There will be easier to find the right Moan farm if you can give us some name to the people who emigrated to America....

There were Moan farms in 1800 century in following counties and parish´s:

Nordland county:
Hemnes

Nord Trøndelag county:
Leksvik, Ekne, Snåsa and Stjørdal

Sør Trøndelag county:
Ålen, Horg, Malvik and Støren

Hedmark county:
Os and Tynset.
