She was in Christiania at the 1865 census, see here
Her mother was Lena Mortensdatter, 41 years old and divorced, living by selling flowers and having a daughter Berte Marie 16 years and two sons, Nils Gunerus, 9 years and Anton Martinius 6 years old.
An LDS-record for the mother Lene Mortensdatter gives the info that she was born Nov 28 1826 and christened Jan 21 1827 in Oslo. The parents were Morten Gunnersen and Elen Christensdatter.
From an LDS record for the youngest son, born Oct 10 1860, christened June 2 1861 the father is recorded as Gulbrand Nielsen. He is not found in the 1865 census for Oslo (Christiania)

I haven't posted anything in a while, and I was speaking to my cousin who is also a decedant fo Jens Kalrsen and Dagmar Johansen.. We were wondering if there is any family left alive who we might be able to communicate with. Does anyone know how to get in touch with these people. Any help would be appreciated,

Debbie
