I want information about when Margrethe/Margaret came to America.
I believe that she left Norway in June or July 1882 and her destination was St.Croix i Wisconsin.
She left Norway with Angelo departure was Kristiania. Kristiansand and to Hull.
I want information about when she left Hull and went to America.

In America she got married to Charles Johnson born abt. 1859 in Sweden.
They got married abt. 1887, and Johnson was Margaret's last name after marriage.
I believe that he came to America in 1882.

Is there possible that anyone want to find him for me?
I don`t know his Swedish name.

Have a nice day

No Les, you had the right one!

Link

It would take her a couple of days to reach possibly Liverpool, so she would have left England ab. June 12th, 1882. Crossing in 10 days, arriving Boston ab June 22nd ...?

Mette,

Your inquiry asked for Margaret's departure date from Hull, and arrival date in America. Does that mean you have all of this information we are posting?

Then you wanted to know if it was possible to find him, and you didn't know his Swedish name. Are you referring to Charles Johnson, or somebody else?

I'm afraid I was misled by the statement "Is there possible that anyone want to find him for me?". He, the Swedish Charles Johnson. was already found in the US - last year.

The Gjerdingen family tree, needs the name of the ship that Margaret arrrived on and where.

And apparently Mette needs Charles T. Johnson's lineage from Sweden.

Mette,

Have you tried the LDS web site for Naturalization of Charles Johnson. If he applied in Ashland County, he may be in these records.
