I am trying to obtain information about my husband's family. We only have a little information. His great great grandfather was Johannes Johannesen from Bergenhus, Norway. I am not sure about all this since the language is so different how do I find out info? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Tweet" would be an American spelling. What more information can you give? When was Johannes born? When did he emigrate to the US?

Where did he settle in the US?
