I`m searching information about Irene Helen Sala, born Aug. 8th. 1923, died in Bellingham, Whatcom, WA on Apr. 4th. 1991.

I don`t know anything else about this woman, where she was born, her parents, if she was married and so on.
But I am very interested in knowing everything about her.

She may be a lost relative.... Or maybe that`s just my wishful thinking:-)

Hoping someone knows a bit more than I do, I`m sending out this request.

Thank you Jan Peter, I have also found this Irene Sala, but in some way I don`t think she`s the right one... If my memory is right (I don` t have all my papers here..) there is an Irene Sala born in 1925 dying in NY on another date and year as "my" Irene, son I think this maybe can be the same as we can find in the 1930 census... maybe...

I have googled the name Irene Helen Sala, and found out that she is buried in Pleasant View cemetery in Post Falls, Kootenai county, ID. There are several Sala`s buried there, Joseph W. born 1879, died 1957, Grace Donna Meek, born 1892, died 1963, Russell born 1922, Warren born 1906, Dean Calvin born 1926. When I search the census, I find this family along with some other children, but none named Irene, or Helen.
My guess is that my Irene Sala maybe have been married to one of them, and in that way got the name Sala?

The reason I`m looking for information on this woman, is as I stated earlier, she may be a lost relative..
My gr.uncle left Norway in 1911, lived in Spokane, WA, most of his life over there, and died in Post falls, Kootenai, ID in 1963. In his last will, the only one mentioned, is Irene Helen Sala. This could off course don`t mean a thing, but the family history says that he was involved with a woman, but after he returned from...( this we don`t know, `cause my aunt don`t remember this part. She`s 86 years old) the woman had left, taken a child and money with her.
That`s why I wonder if this Irene Helen maybe could be his daughter?
And the name Irene Helen, well, it goes both in USA and in Norway.....

Hi, sorry that I didn`t listed that as well..

Ole Kling (Olaus Halvorsen Gikling), born 23.August 1880 in Sundal, Norway. Died on dec. 8th 1963 in Post Falls, Kootenai, ID. In census 1920-1930 he`s living in Spokane City, Spokane, WA.
Left Norway in April 1911, arrived Boston on the 13th. same month and year. In 1912 he crosses the border between Canda and USA, he`s listed with residence Canada at that time. In the beginning he`s using the name Gikling, but later that\ s changed to Kling. That he changed his name from Gikling to Kling is something we know for sure. In 1918 I find him listed in WW1 as Olaus Kling.
I`m almost 100% sure that the Ole Kling I`ve found dead as stated above, is the right one. In his last will he says he is a bachelor, but that doesn`t mean he can`t have children....
