Can anyone help me find a website for a copy of the "departure manifest" for the SS ETRURIA. The ship left Liverpool on 11 May 1889 and arrived in New York/Castle Garden on 19 or 20 May 1889.

Do you need the whole manifest for record purposes? There are 22 pages per my source, Ancestry.com.

It would be time consuming to send you each page as an email attachment.

If you are looking for a certain person, I could maybe find him/her and send it to you.

Looks like some of the pages have been damaged.

I think this is a free web site. Go to line 49, and it should take you to the manifest. My computer started acting funny with this entry.

http://stevemorse.org/cgi-bin/boat.cgi?series=M237&rollStart=&rollEnd=&volumeStart=&volumeEnd=&monthStart=&dayStart=&yearStart=&monthEnd=&dayEnd=&yearEnd=&boatkind=exact&boat=etruria&offset=1&portkind=starts&port=&pageSize=50&database=castle
Something is wrong, it doesn't work.

Lester,

I'm searching for a SARAH MASON, age 31 and her son HENRY J MASON, age 7. On the same ship is a RIGBY family with a son named PHILLIP, age 4. If you could help I would be very gratefull.

Thank you,

Jon Mason

Jon,

I searched all 22 pages for Sarah Mason. Sorry, she wasn't on this ship.

The Rigby's were, and you should have gotten their manifest page.

Lester,

Thank you for your assistance. I'm still (about) 96% positive that Sarah and her son were on the ETRURIA. Sarah's son, my Grandfather indicated to his son (my Father) that he traveled with a Phillip Rigby age 4 from England to the USA. When I looked at the <b>"ARRIVAL" </b>Manifest there were about three or four lines (near the end) of passenger names that were not ledgeable. It is because of those non-ledgeable lines that I'm trying to locate the <b>"BOARDING or DEPARTURE"</b> manifest. There must have been some listing of passenger names created when they boarded the ETRURIA.

Any further help still would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to contact me directly at nosam2@sbcglobal.net.
