I am attempting to find out where Anne died. She left Trondheim for Quebec on May 5, 1869 on board the Neptunus. Traveling with her were her husband Fredrik H. (passenger listing spells the name Rosseth - "Refseth") and her son John Fredriks. and his wife Ingborg. There was an oubreak of "Typhus fever and measles" on board the Neptunus and some passengers died, others may have died in the quarantine station on Grosse Ile. I have found Fredrik in the 1870 Census in Minnesota, but Anne is not listed, so presumably she died in route to Minnesota or shortly after arriving. I have checked in Minnesota and found no information on her death there.

Are there places to check (along the way from Quebec to entering the U.S.) which might give some clue as to whether she passed through the various points along the way?

Was she not listed in the passenger arrivals in Quebec as kept by the Canadian archives? Were any of those who died onboard during the voyage listed there upon the ship's arrival?

I understand you looked at the Trondheim record of them leaving from that port - but am unsure if you checked the arrivals.

Yes, I did check arrivals in Canada and she is listed there so, presumably, she did make it to Quebec. I was wondering if there are other passenger listings (for the trip from Quebec to Minnesota) or immigrant listings when (and where) they actually crossed into America?
