can't go further than Ole born 1813?, Gjertrude born 1817? Verdal N.Trondelag-have also been reading up on the 1893 landslide and wonder if anyone has the list of deceased? My ancestors stayed in Verdal till 1824-when my grandfather came over Haahon Bernard Thoreson -his father was thore thoreson lademo, his mom anna Kristine Hansdatter. my grandfathers brothers Olav and Thomas descendants still there but lost contact!

Marriage record for Ole Andersen and ?jertrue Thomesdatter -
1833 Marriage in Verdal, NT
Their birthplaces and birthyears are recorded.

Entries by persons with surname Thoreson to the LDS Ancestral File would make it appear that your grandfather was more likely to be Haakon Bernard Thoreson (Lademo) who was born in 1892. Perhaps you've recorded his immigration year with a hundred year error.

The marriage record reads Hiertrue Thomesdatter, her baptismal record is #2 from the top on left hand page here
her parents were Thomes Jacobsen and Sara Olsdatter at the Michvold farm.
Hiertrue (Giertrud) died in 1894, see #6
