I would like some help reading the following marriage record.
2nd page, 2nd entry. If his name is Iverssen, he could be a brother to my ggggrandmother. Please identify all the names for me if he is an Iverssen.

Thanks,

Sorry, he is Poul Jacobsen from Klypen.
Is Iver Paulsen and Lisbet Andersdatter the parents of your ggggrandmother? - if so Paul Iversen was christened June 12 1803 in Fron, Oppland, see page 89 of Oppland, Fron 1799-1816.

My ggggrandmother was Lisbeth Iversdtr Kleppen, born 1795, Sør Fron, buried 16 Feb. 1829 Frøn/Sodorp, Oppland. Her parents were Iver Olsen Steig <b 1750> and Bret Østensdatter <b1751>.

Lisbeth seems to be the only child, so I thought maybe I had accidently found a sibling.

She married 14 July 1821 to Hans Olsen Roven b. 1792 Frøn, buried 15 April 1863 Sør Fron.

Hans' father was Ole Østensen Roven, <b1740>, buried 17 July 1799 Fron. He married Mari Hansdtr <b1759>, buried 16 February 1829. Everything stops here, so far.

Opplands on-line records stop at 1799, so I have been browsing and searching what is presently available. Then I wll order some LDS records.

Thanks,

Have you seen the confirmation record for Lisbeth? - she is in the right column on the right hand page here
she was registered as 14 years old, this was in 1809 so she was probably born 1795.

You are right Hopkins, let me complete:

Trinity or Trinitates is Latin for Whitsun. Pinse in Norwegian.
In 1809 3. Sunday after Whitsun was June 18.

This confirmation of Peder Olsen Roven took place on Ascension Day in 1811 (which was May 23 that year) and it was in the Sødorp church.
Lisbeths confirmation in 1809 was as Hopkins says Third Sunday after Trinity (which was June 18 that year) and it was in the Froen church.
