I was reading about this ship and was wondering what happened to the passenger lists. I am not sure if my ancestors travelled by this ship, but I was curious what might have happened to them. My ancestor, Knud Arnesen, left in the spring of 1859 to Quebec from Trondheim (at least according to a record that my grandmother had) with his future wife, Anna Bye and her cousin, Lars Blix and family.

Thanks for any information!

Tami

"Because the National Archives of Canada [NAC] did not start the archiving of passenger lists before 1865, and the Norwegian emigration records did not start before 1867, there is no surviving passenger list for this voyage."

Yes, that was exactly the article I read. Ok, I misunderstood it and now I have it. Thank you, Hopkins.
