Hi Lester,
In doing a quick check, there are about 38 farms that might fit your spelling of Laurvig or Larvika, but none that I found are in Hedmark. You need to give every piece of information that you have in order to help us help you.
What are your ancestors names and important dates?
Do you know when they emigrated?
Have you found them in the U.S. Census?
Why do you believe that the farm name and location is what it is? Tell everything you know.

In the census 1865 there was a farm Laurvig
that farm most likely changed name to Larvik
in the 1900 census.
Today the farm most likely does not exist, but there is a house called Larvika. You can see it (in the woods) with this map
write Larvika in the line for SØK (search) and Velg (choose) Larvika (Enebolig), Sør-Odal, Hedmark in the column to the left. You can do zooming and choose Hybrid to see the house.

Hi,
Larvika has been discussed before, and it is located under the Søndre Auli farm in Sør-Odal.

Have you been in contact with Geir Sagen?
You can find his mailaddress at the bottom of this page
He is from Skarnes in Sør-Odal, and has some information about your family here. Did you provide that info?
Anyway, he might help you locating relatives of Edvard Andersen Laurvig.
