Does anyone know if there is a forum out there like this one to get assistance for Swedish genealogy? My grandmother was Norwegian and I got some WONDERFUL help here on her family. My grandfather was Swedish and would like to know if there is someplace I can go to get this great assistance for his side of the family also. Thank you Terri Jo
Try this: http://aforum.genealogi.se. This is the swedish anbytarforum I found from Cyndi's list. Once on the main page, click on the American flag (unless you're fluent in Swedish). Then click "click here for list of topics" link. I used the "discussions in English" topic area to post my queries. Fairly self explanatory but there is lots of info in English for directions and other things to explore. You may also need to register like you did here. The topics are not as well organized as they are here, they are alphabatized, regardless of most recent post. My post was replied to multiple times within a day however so that was good. Most helpful if you know what parish your grandfather was from also.
