Hi

I'm looking for the death dates of Nils Peter Karlsen b 1855, in Aafjord, Norway. He came to the U.S. 2 times, I don't know the dates. Family rumor dates his death in 1943?
Also his wife, Peteronella Petersdatter b 1849 in Bessaker, Norway.
They had my gfather Albert Cornelis Carlson b Aug. 3, 1879 in Bessaker, Norway. He came over to stay in 1906, to Drummond, WI. His wife was Lena Kristine Jakobsdatter, b in Hopstad. She came to the u.s. in 1907.

All help is greatly appreciated

Bonnie

Your gg grandfather Niels Petter Carlsen was born Sept 21 1855 but was not baptized until May 12 in 1856, see #12
his parents were Carl Paulsen and Anne Nielsdatter.
1913 was one of the times he went to Drummond, see here
Peternella was a child born out of wedlock Aug 2 1849, see #65
her parents were Peter Olaus Petersen and Olava Eriksdatter.
The baptismal record for your g grandfather Albert Kornelius is
#36
Niels Petter and Peternella married June 1 1876, see #2
Niels Peter and Peternella had a daughter Jonatha Petrine born out of wedlock Dec 5 1875, see #6
she died Dec 12 same year. The note says that this was the second child Peternella had born out of wedlock and that they married June 1 1876.

No death records are available after 1927 due to privacy rules.

In 1865 Peternellas father Peter Olaus was married, see here
and had two children with Lusia Svendsdatter. Peternella and her mother Olava Eriksdatter was not in Bjørnør in 1865.
Strange! - Albert Kornelius Petersen (not Carlsen - should actually have been Nilsen!) born 1879, father (Nils) Peter Carlsen Besager, married Sept 15 1904 Lina Kristine Jakobsdatter born 1881, father Jakob Markussen Hopstad. - I would think they are your grandparents - or am I wrong? See first record
Lina Kristine was born May 5 1881, see #17
her parents were Jakob Magnussen (1851) and Berith Anna Pedersdatter (1845) at Moen.

In the 1900 census we find Peternella on Besaker with a "pleiesønn", see
here
No Niels Peter Carlsen in this census and no children were born to them in Roan, Bjørnør between 1879 and 1900.
