Karen was married to Baard Anderson Klukken. Baard was born January 8, 1840. I'm quite sure they were married in America.

Is there any record for Nicolai's sister Karen Martha Pederson born: November 25, 1849?
- yes her baptismal record is #19 but she was not born Dec 2 1849. Thie is confirmed by her confirmation record, see

I found information written down many years ago which says the following.
Gurine came to America in June 1885. Karen came to America in 1880 (her obiturary said 1881)
Maren was born June 23, 1851. Bergette was born in Norway and at the age of 21 was married to Erik Nelson. 3 years later they came to America. First to LaCrosse and then to Todd Co. Minnesota, where they had 13 children. So it looks like there was a Maren (probably called Marian in America) and Anna.

I found an obituary from Karen and it listed Anna having the last name Restan and living in Sisseton, SD. Then I found her on Ancestry.com as dying in 1945 in Roberts County SD which Sisseton is in. What paper would the obituary have been listed in? Any ideas?

yes Maren Anna was baptized Oct 12 and the note under her name is the date when she was confirmed Oct 6 1867 and the date April 18 1877 when she had an attestation (probably to go to "Amerika").
Sponsors (to the best of my ability) Magnild and ? Rein, Martha and Olaus Tronęsvald, Niels Pedersen, ?, ?, ?, ?

On Ancestry.com I found an Anna Restan living in Roberts County, South Dakota in 1920 born about 1867. She is listed as having a spouse named O. S.

Did Peter even have a brother named Niels Olson or is that someone else in the 1801 record found earlier in this post. Who could the other people be that are in that list?

The 1801 census lists Peder and Niels as brothers, their parents were Ole Monssen and Anne Nielsdatter.
Maria and Susanna were servants and Iver and Marith were renting room at the farm.

What info does it say for Peder and Niels? I'm sorry, but I'm not very good at reading these old records especially these. If you could help me I would really appreciate it!
