My grandmother Laura Larsen's niece, born to Otto and Akseline Larsen Jakobsen in March 1, 1910 and baptized February 26, 1911 was Margit Viktoria. Her sister was Mimmi Marie Jakobsen, who came to the United States after their mother died. She was raised by my grandmother after she came in 1918.

I have no idea what happened to Margit Vicktoria Jacobsen after her mother died except that she lived with her father and an aunt in Oslo.

Does anyone know when Akseline Larsen Jakobsen died? It had to be before 1918.

Is there any way I can find out what happened to Margit? I would like to see if there are relatives of hers still in Norway.

Thank you. Mary

I have given a full answer at Digitalarkivet. Here are the links to the death records from Matteus church in Oslo.
Axelines death 1917

Margit's death 1921
