I am trying to find if and or all of the siblings of Frederikke Olava Olsen emigrated to New Zealand. (she came in 1879 on the Arethusa ex London) The children concerned are: Hans Jacob Olsen - born c1853 Caroline Olsdatter - born 1855 Karen Olsdatter - born 1860 Marie Olsdatter - born 1863
We have a photo taken in NZ about 1909 which shows Wilhelm Anderson and his wife Olava and their son Emil (my grandfather) and Olive, Emil's sister. I don't know who the others are but the ladies THree) certainly bear a resemblence to Olava - and thre are also three extra men (possibly spouses of the ladies) hence our desire to find if they came to NZ.

Emil's sister Olive is on the left on the ground. We don't know who any of the others are but the older ladies certainly bear a strong resemblence to Olava.
Have now found that Karen kristine Olsen emigrated to New Zealand on Board Shakespeare arriving at Wellington 7th January 1876. Later that year she married Charles Lamburg.
