I'm searching for history of Toralf Halvorsen. I do know that his birth year was Oct 20, 1895 and location was Kristiania, Norway. Father's mane was Julius Halvorsen. He arrived in the US on Sep 18 1915 on the Kristianiafjord ship.

Hello.

According to the 1900 Census his father was
Julius Halvorsen b. 1869. It seems he was a dockworker at a repair shop ...."Sjauer paa et Mekanisk Verksted"
Hilda Halvorsen b. 1871 was his wife " Hustru"
Toralf Halvorsen Søn born in 1895
Ragnhild Halvorsen Datter born in 1898
Sigrid Halvorsen Datter born ??

Toralf was baptized Toralf Eugen March 15 1896 at Sagene church in Oslo, see #41
his parents were shipyard worker Peter Julius Halvorsen (born 1869) and his wife Hilda Birgitte Evensen (born 1871) living at Sannergaten 10.
Toralfs sister Ragnhild was born Febr. 28 1898 and baptized Ragnhild Eugenie Nov 6 1898, see #190
The sister Sigrid was born Dec 18 1900.
Toralfs parents married Aug 19 1893, see #43
His father was confirmed Sept 30 1883 at Sagene and his father was Hans Peter Halvorsen. His mother was confirmed Oct 4 1885 at Sagene and her father was Peter Emil Evensen.

The confirmation record for Toralfs father Peter Julius Halvorsen reveals that he was born Jan 11 1869 and that his mother was Inger Andrea Kristoffersdatter, the family was living at Holsts gate 2.

The confirmation record for Toralfs mother Hilda Birgitte Evensen reveals that she was born March 12 1871 and that her mother was Laura Marie Olsen, the family was living at Sandakerveien 17.

Peter Julius was the youngest child in the family in 1875
he had two brothers and three sisters.

When Hilda Birgitte was born the family was living at Maridalsveien 239.

Her parents Peter Emil Evensen and Laura Marie Olsen were married March 6 1869, see #12
Peter Emil was 21 years old, born in Aker and his father was Poul Evensen.
Laura Marie was 24 years old, born in Drøbak and her father was Ole Reiersen.
Peter Emils baptismal record is #24
he was born Sept 27 1847 and baptized Febr 20 1848. His parents were tailor Poul Evensen and Marie Halvardsdatter, Øvre Foss.
