Would like to now which ship Johannes Gullbrå, born 1.sept 1888. left with and any other details. He emigrated 10. april 1906 and went with Cunard line, thats all we've figured out so far.

Guldbraa is Evanger sub parish in Voss municipality, Hordaland county.

I think perhaps you are looking for John Herlaugsen Guldbraa born to Herlaug Johannesen and Ingeborg Johnsdatter Guldbraa Sept. 1. 1888 #46

Guldbraa 1900, his father Herlaug was a widower, John had 5 siblings.

I didn´t first notice you are Norwegian and was only looking for the ship name, sorry

Emigrant ships from Norway 1906, no passenger list

Cunard line information

Good luck

John Herlaugsen Gulbraa (18) emigrated together with his cousin Johan Larsen Gulbraa (20).

They arrived New York on April 24th, 1906, sailing from Liverpool on April 14th on the ship "The Campania". Johan was headed for his uncle Mr. Jakob Ekse, while John was headed for his uncle Mr. Torkel Johnsen.
Both Jakob Ekse and Torkel Johnsen lived in Bradley. Clark County, South Dakota.

Is this the right people? Looks like a mix-up of names and lastnames, so it's confusing...

Tusen takk for hjelp!!!

That's why I said it was confusing.

The Ellis Island records says that the destination for John Gulbraa (19) was "uncle Mr. Torkel Johnsen"
The destination for his cousin Johan Gulbraa (20) was "uncle Mr. Jakob Ekse".

For me, John & Johan Gulbraa looks like John Herlaugsen Gulbraa (18) and Johan Larsen Gulbraa (20) in the Bergen emigration records from April 10th, 1906.
Why the author at trefall.com call them John Sammson Gullbrå and Johan (Bergeson?) Gullbrå, I don't know.
He list them as:
John Sammson Gullbrå f. 1885, going to uncle Torkjel Johnson (Gullbrå).
Johan (Bergeson?) Gullbrå f. 1885(2?), going to uncle Jakob Ekse, Bradley, South Dakota.

It would be much easier if you could provide some links to the emigration records of your Johannes Gullbrå.

I think we'll have to wait for more information...
There's noone named Bertina who left Bergen on April 10th, 1906. Maybe Johannes and Bertina didn't emigrate from Bergen?
