Gregorius Gregoriusen baptized 13 Jul 1805 in Mykland, Åmli, Aust-Agder, married Guro Vralsdatter on 29 Dec 1833 in Mykland, Åmli, Aust-Agder. I know quite a bit about Gregouius and his ancestors and descendants, but nothing about Guro.
Their marriage is here Marriage

Using the data from this ie she is 26 years old, I think I have found her baptisim here Guro

Left side page about middle of page, date is 8 jul 1806. With father Wral Halvorsen and mother Torbor Knudsdatter.

Does this seem to be a correct conclusion

Seems to me as the right Guro. Their first child was Anne,
#1 she was born Dec 13 1834 and bapt Jan 4 1835. One of the witnesses was Siri Wraalsdatter - Guro had an older sister Sigri.
Guro parents Vrol Halvorsen and Torbor Knudsdatter were marrried Sept 29 1794, see #11
In 1801 they were on Rostvet

Than you very much for the information. It should help me trace this family further back in time. I am especially grateful for the census data since that gives me the farm to follow since I do have access to the two Åmli bygdebøker, one for Tovdal and one for Gjøvdal.. Would you be so kind as to identify the two farms listed behind Vrol and Torbor's names in the #11 from your post, that will also provide me another two farms to investigate. They are as usual a little hard for me to make out with any degree of accuracy..

Vrol was at Vehuus (Vehus) when they married and Torbor was from Rostvet (Rostveit).
You were 4 min ahead of me Jan Peter.

Gregorius and Guro had a daughter Torbør born May 28 1837. They were then on Risdal.
When they had the daughter Berte in April 1840 they were on Frigstad.
Febr 22 1843 when they had Ole they were still on Frigstad.
On Frigstad also when Guro was born July 18 1847.
They were back on Risdal when they had Gregorius May 20 1850 - and when he died see
#4
A "new" Gregorius was born Sept 6 1851 when they again were on Frigstad.

Thank you very much for the information. I knew about Berte since she is my great-grandmother, and I knew about Guro and Anne but not the others. I will now be able to add them to my data base.
