I visited the library today and looked into Flesberg Bygdebok volume V p. 34-25 and 410.

The correct name on Fønset-eie was Sagløkka (Sawpaddoc)
Even had 5 siblings, Ole born 1833, Jørand 1835 (emigrated to America 1869), Mari 1838, Kittil 1844 and Beret 1847.

Ole 1833 married Ingebjørg Kristoffersdatter, the son Ole 1853 married Jørand Olsdatter Strykopp in 1888, lived on Fjøse-eie (correct name Nilssonplassen) in 1900, two children.

The family settled down on Hugstedplass in Bevergrenda countryside district in Kongsberg town, in 1919 they moved to Larsplassen, Kongsberg, Jørand died 1929, Ole after 1929.
Jøran 1885 worked for priest Bugge, died unmarried 1965, Ole 1883 married Gunnild and settled down on Mønsterplassen, he worked on Hellebæk saw mill in Kongsberg and died 1953, two sons Oskar and Wilhelm.

Mari 1838 lived with her mother on Fønseteie 1865 with a daughter Olava age 2 born in Eker (Even Olsen Fønset worked in Eker 1865)
Her father Ole Evenesen died 1856 on Fønset-eie.

Mari Olsdr´s 2. daughter, Anne Kristine, was also born out of wedloc in 1868, the father was Kittil Gulliksen Fønset.
Mari was on way back home to Fønset on Sunday July 19 when the birth started.
Anne Kristine´s mother gave birth under a bridge crossing Svartbekken (Black creek) and Mari came home with the baby in her arms.

Kittil 1844 married 1875 Ingebjørg Marie Nilsdatter Vinnes from Eker, settled down in Lier parish Buskerud on Grønvold before 1900, 4 children.

Beret/Birgit 1847 did also settled down in Skoger where Even Olsen married 1872 and emigrated from.
Three and a half year later, on Oct. 24. 1875 she married Edvard Hansen from Skoger in Skoger church.
The family on Engene in Skoger 1900 with three children, Oskar, Harald and Bergljot.

It seems like the mother Beret Olsdr. Fønseteie moved from Lyngdal-Flesberg and settled down in another parish after 1865, likley in one of the childrens recidence because her death record don´t exist in the Flesberg records.

Ole Olsen Funseteiet 1833 didn't marry Ingebjørg Kristoffersdatter, their son Ole 1853 was illegitimate.
Ole Funseteiet emigrated to Sweden 1857, he settled as Olof Funseth in Strömsund in Jämtland where he married Magdalena Karlsdotter in 1860. They had 11 children, ( actually they had 13 children but two of them died as newborn). Four sons, one daughter, one granddaughter and one grandson emigrated to the US. (1888, 1889, 1905, 1926)
Olof Funseth is my Great Great Grandfather.
Ole 1853: his son Ole Olsen Nygård married Gundhild Torstensdatter Heggen, they had three sons: Oscar Johannes and Tomas Gunvald (twins) 1911, Wilhelm Henry 1912, one daughter Gunvor Birgit 1918 (died 1921).

could this be Even Olsen Fonseth in census-1880 for Township 135 And 136, Richland, Dakota Territory?

In that case, Even & Betsy married in Norway, and got a girl Caroline born in Norway about 1869.
There are btw Dokken farms in Flesberg, Buskerud.

Census-1900 has this entry. Could it be him?
Name: Evan Oleson
Residence: Fargo city, Cass, North Dakota
Birthdate: Dec 1839
Birthplace: Norway
Father's birthplace: Norway
Mother's birthplace: Norway
Marital status: Widowed
Estimated marriage year: 1875
Immigration year: 1872
Birth year is 2 years off, and marriage year indicate 1875, so it doesnt appear to be the same person as in census-1880, or...?

PETER PAUL TOBOLA (aka Peter Tobin) (1891-1970) from St. Paul, Ramsey, MN married ANNA C. FONSETH b. ab 1882-1883 in Kindred, Cass County, North Dakota, d. July 13, 1960, St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota
Death certificate for Anna C. Tobin at Minnesota Historical Society, St. Paul, Minnesota, lists her parents as Evan Fonseth and Bertha Dukken

The Kriske-Majchrzak Family Tree contains info about Anna C. Fonseth. Does it list more info about her parents?

Jan Peter

Even's wife Bergitte Halvorsdatter Dokken had two (illegitimate) children (twins) Ole and Kari born 15 Nov 1870, their father was Andreas Andersen, Thorstadsbraaten, Lier.

Even and Bergitte was married 13 Aug 1872 in Skoger.
