I'm looking for Don or descendants of him, or siblings.
His mother was Signe Dybvig b. 1896, married with George F. Chase b. 1890.
In census 1930 they was in Illinois, Cook, Maywood Village. |

If you search the Cook County Marriage Records for Donald Chase you will only find two records. See http://www.cookcountygenealogy.com/Search.aspx
For a fee you can order copies of the records. It is not a bad assumption that since Donald's mother Signe died in Cook County that he would have been married there. |

Using the SSDI and clicking on the search ancestry.com button pulled up her obituary. It reads as follows:
Signe J Chase ,Feb 13, 1967, beloved wife of the late George F Chase; dear mother of G Donald (Barbara) Chase; fond grandmother of Linda and Paula Chase.
The obituary comes from:

Thank you to bouth of you.
Now I knew that Donald was their only child, and that he had two girls. BUT girls usualy change name when married, and that does not do it easy to find them. If My Donald is one of the two in Cook County Marriage Records, Linda and Paula should be about 55 years or less.
You have a lot of places to search in US that we do not have in Norway, I can see. |

It is curious that the death record for Signe J Chase shows up both in reference to Chicago and to Hennepin County, Minnesota. I wondered if perhaps she was connected to both places. During my search of ancestry.com I did find the following record.

Address: 14863 Endicott WY, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55124-0301 (1993
Using the Reverse White Pages I find this
G D Chase

Household: Barbara J Chase, George Chase
You can look this up your self at

I wonder if this is the home address of your Donald Chase and his wife Barbara referenced in the obituary as G Donald Chase and Barbara. |

Pushing the White Pages further I turn up this record.
1. CHASE, GEORGE D
Age: 86
SAINT PAUL, MN
APPLE VALLEY, MN
CHASE, BARBARA J (Age 89)
CHASE, PAULA J (Age 53)
So we have a household with G Donald Chase, wife Barbara and probably daughter Paula. Seems to fit well with the obituary from the Chicago Tribune.

I have get in contact with Paula on phone. She now live in Minneapolis, her parents pased away some two years ago.
