Passenger list Liverpool – USA, April 1882

My grandmother’s uncle Theodor Edvard Andersen Gudim (Theodor A Gudim) (born Jan. 19 -1841 in Rakkestad, Norway) emigrated to Minnesota, USA in 1882 with his wife Petrine Jensdatter Gudim (born Mar. 12-1852 in Eidsberg Norway) and their three children: Martin Gudim (born 1875), Christian Gudim( born ?) and Jens Alfred Gudim (born 1881).
They went from Christiania (Oslo,Norway) to Hull, (England) Mars 31-1882 with S/S Angelio.
Then with train from Hull to Liverpool and boat to USA.

They arrived Faribault, Minnesota after more than one week. One day train and eight days on a horse carriage without springs.

Possible departure from Liverpool 3, 4, 5 or 6 ?? April- 1882.

I have tried to find the following data without any success:
-the passenger list (Liverpool - USA)
-the exact date of departure from Liverpool
-the name of the ship (in a letter to his brother Theodor told him that it was a relative small ship)
-to which town in USA the ship arrived. (New York, Boston, Baltimore …)

So, if someone is able to help me with some or all of this data, I would be most grateful.

The spelling of many names when written down by the ships staff can become quite garbled and lead to some very difficult searches. Searching Ancestry.com under Gudrim and Theodor was not furitful. However searching under Petrine, 1882 and age about 28 to 34 turned up the following person.

Name: Petrine Kjisernd
Arrival Date: 15 Apr 1882
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1853
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Port of Departure: Liverpool, England and Queenstown, Ireland
Destination: United States of America
Place of Origin: Norway
Ethnicity/Race/Nationality: Norwegian
Ship Name: Republic
Search Ship Database: Search the Republic in the 'Passenger Ships and Images' database
Port of Arrival: New York

She is travelling with her husband, T. ?. Kjisernd (difficult to read), and three children Johann age 5, Christian age 2 and Jens infant.

Not a perfect match but some of the parts fit. Does the name Kijsernd have any fit with Theodor Gudim family.

Here is the information on T G or could also be T E.

Name: T G Kjisernd
Arrival Date: 15 Apr 1882
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1842
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Port of Departure: Liverpool, England and Queenstown, Ireland
Destination: United States of America
Place of Origin: Norway
Ethnicity/Race/Nationality: Norwegian
Ship Name: Republic

Hi lyndal40 and peder
Thank you for a quick answer.
I feel I have moved a large step forward by your help.
This is most likely the correct info. because Petrine’s name before marriage was Kjersrud
and there children’s name was Johan Martin, Christian (Kristian) Anton and Jens Alfred.
