I need to find the list of passengers arriving at New York in August 1906 on the Caronia which left from Liverpool on I think 28th August 1906. Any pointers?
Ancestry.com a subscription site has the passenger lists for the Caronia for the year 1906. The Caronia carried 25,464 passengers in 1906 and arrived in New York most months of the year. A quick glance shows August 8 plus Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec. If there is a specific name you are looking for post it and I will see if I can find it.
The name I am looking for is James Shearer from Liverpool who went to New York on the Caronia on 28th August 1906 with his wife Mrs. Shearer. I am keen to see the record of the American list of immigrants from that ship. Thanks for your help by the way Jacqueline Bolshaw
