Thank you for this birth record of John Stromme - I am quite sure that this is my John with the middle name beginning with M for Mons. I had searched for him without luck so I appreciate your help.

I believe I have confirmed that Ingeborg Andersdatter immigrated on the Ship Polynesian which arrived Quebec on May 10 1875 - Wilson Line. Her sister who died at sea Synneve was traveling with her according to family history. Since Synneve is not listed on this passenger manifest I can only assume that she may have died on the connecting trip from Bergen to Liverpool. There is a Ship Argo which fits the dates. Does anyone know if there are passenger manifests or death records from these connecting ships from Norway (Bergen) to Liverpool? I know that LDS has a record of deaths at sea for 1873-1875 but don't know if it covers these connecting ships??

Thanks for any suggestions or info.

Kathy

Thanks,

kathysig
