Parents: Svein Olsen Frisvik b. 1853 & Marita Olsdr b. 1862
Siblings according to Census-1900:
Marta Sveinsdatter Frisvik b 1883
Ingebjørg Sveinsdatter Frisvik b 1886
Per Sveinsen Frisvik b 1892
According to LDS, there is also a brother Ola Sveinsen Frisvik b 1880.

Svend Olsen, Odland and Marita Olsdatter, Fresvik were married June 25 1880, see #7.
Svends father was Ole Gundersen, Odland and Maritas father was Ole Kjeldsen, Fresvik.
Marita was born when her parents were on Hovland, see confirmation record
#21 and baptismal record on top of left page - mother was Mari Pedersdatter.
Svend Olsen was born Febr 19 1853 when his parents were on Berge in Røldal, see #3 - mother was Ingeborg Gulliksdatter. |

You can learn much about Samson's parents and siblings in the book(s) "Odda, Ullensvang og Kinsarvik i gamal og ny tid", 8 volumes by Olav Kolltveit. The Fresvik farm in Ullensvang parish is detailed in volume 4-2 of those books and Samson's family is specifically mentioned on page 526 of volume 4-2.
Samson's oldest brother, Ola took over his father's section of the Fresvik farm and the last listed user/owner of that farm section is Samson's great nephew and his family.
Sister Marta married Jakob Halldorson. Sister Ingebjørg married Håkon Torsteinson. Brother Per's second wife was Torbjørg Asbjørnsdtr.
Samson's father came from Røldal district and can probably be found mentioned on page 462 of "Røldal bygdebok." by Knut and Alma Dalen.

Lutro is a farm from Kinsarvik parish which is just to the north of Ullensvang in Hordaland. |
