Hello all.
I have an ancestor from the Bredsvoll farm in Hedmark. Does anyone know much about the family that lived there during the early 1700s?

My gggggrandfather Halvor Bredsvol moved from this area to a farm in Gransherad. According to the 1782 census he lived on the Mjelland property with a wife and 5 children. I have information on him and his family after the move...but I can't find any evidence of him in the Stange region before his move.

Forgive me for asking, (I'm sure you get this question a million times) but Is the only way to get my hands on a bygdebok is go through the library? Is there translated versions?
