I really do not have much information on this family. Martin Alfsen and Karen Christopherson immigrated from an area north of Lier Valley to Leer Michigan.

Martin's father is Alf Johnsen Stordem and Mother is Johanne Danielsdatter Nes.

Martin's grandfather is John Isachsen with no farm name or area.

Any assistance on this family would be appreciated.

Could record 29 be the person I am looking for. Looks like Alf Johnsen could be Als Jonsen, born on October 20, 1802 to Jon Isachsen. I can read this hand writing very well, but I don't see the mother's name, but I can see an Anders Christofersen and a Mager Ivansen????

That's the mother's name, right after the father's name. Not sure about the first name, but her last name looks like Alvsdtr or Alvsdatter.

I think it's Pernille Alvsdtr.

Johanne Danielsdatter was baptized July 21 1796, see last record on left page. Her parents were at Kløvigen in Hole, but in 1801 they were at Næs.

Her parents Daniel Samuelsen, Kløvigen and Marie Samuelsdatter, Næs wer married Oct 28 1790, see 5th couple in far right column.

Daniel Samuelsen, Kløvigen was baptized May 15 1763, see 2nd record on left page. His father was Samuel Olsen Kløvigen. His mother was Kirsti - unknown fathers (last) name.

Note the 3rd record on same page where Mari (Marie) Samuelsdatter was baptized the same day. Her father was also Samuel Olsen !! but Maris father was living on the farm Næs and his wife (= Maries mother) was Johanne.
