You are missing one child, Anders, the twin of "little" Ole, see 1865 and
#135 & 136. They were born on Spranget (The leap) Oct 19 1858.
Ole Torgersen was a widower in 1865, his wife Daardi Rasmusdatter has died between 1862 and 1865.
Daardi Rasmusdatter, Thronvold died July 19 1864, 44 years old, see #45.

Ole Torgersen was baptized Febr 7 1813, see top of right page, his parents were Torger Frederiksen and Ingebor Olsdatter.
In the record for Ole and Daardi moving out of Rennebu, June 1845 is the date given, see #10 & 11.

Ingeborg Olsdatter was born Sept 11 1841, see #43. Parents were then on Bak. Her confirmation was Oct 5 1856.
Rasmus Olsen was born at Spranget July 24 1845, see #77.
Ole Olsen was born at Spranget June 23 1849, see #66.
Thomas Olsen was born at Spranget April 3 1852, see #59.
Gjertrud Olsdatter was born at Thronvold May 28 1863, see #72.

I do have this information Ole that you gave me but I don't know when Ole Torgersen died and where and what last name the children have. I was also wondering if you could find if they came to the USA because my gggrandfather is Arnt Torgersen Harstad Solem that came to the USA in 1870 and on the USA census records for 1880 have the household members---
Arnt Solem 68---my gggrandfather
Dorthea J. Scott Solem 56 ---this should be Beret J Solem--my gggrandmother
Thomas Solem 26---Arnt's son
Anna Solem 13--Arnt's daughter
Ole Oleson 22--looks like this might be Ole Torgersen's son
Andrew Oleson 22--looks like this might be Ole Torgersen's son
Emma Oleson 35--I don't know who this is
Thomas Oleson 28--looks like this might be Ole Torgersen's son
Knud Oleson 22--I don't know who this is

And this is what I have from the ship records for Arnt
Emigration on the bark Franklin on 28 Apr 1870. Destination Quebec, Canada:
Arnt Torgersen Solem (54)
Berit Jørgensdatter (46)
Thomas Arntsen (16)
Johan Arntsen (12.5)
Ingeborg Arntsdatter (9.5)
Anne Arntsdatter (4)

I cannot find the Oleson's after this census record and no one remember them or hearing about them.

I may be able to help you answer one of your questions.
My gggrandmother was Ingeborg, but she was known as Emma.
This is not a common Norwegian nickname, but I have seen it in research in
Oppland.

Good luck!

The emigration records for your gggrandfather, his wife and children Thomas, Johan, Ingeborg and Ane is #40 - 45.
In the same page you find the record for Ole Olsen, Thronvold 21 years old, see #53.
Thomas Olsen Tronvold 27 years old emigrated in 1879, see #32.
Ingeborg Olsdatter Tronvold 39 years old, Ole Olsen Tronvold 22 years old and Anders Olsen Tronvold 22 ears old all emigrated in 1880, see #18, 19 & 20.

Ole Torgersen died Jan 28 1878 65 years old, see #23.

This is allot of help and gives me allot to search for here for them. I see on the records of Ingeborg, Ole, and Anders listed and also on #17 it looks like a Knut Olsen something. I cannot read the last name. Do you know what it says and do you think that is the Knut Olesen in the USA records for 1880? And what happened to Gjertrud Olsdatter?

#17 is Knut Olsen Barbo 22 years old. Could be the same as in the census.

Thank you for your help. I still cannot find them over here after the 1880 census. I will still look. So do you think the took the Olsen as the last name over here or Tronvold? And did you find Gjertrud Olsdatter and if she stayed in Norway?
