Would like to find a passenger list or port of entry in the USA.
I found this family in the 1860 census of Strongs Prarie, Adams County. Ws. but no further findings in 1870.

Are you sure they entered the USA? Many immigrants came thru Canada. Here is one Canadian web site: http://jubilation.uwaterloo.ca/~marj/genealogy/thevoyage.html

I am not aware of Canadian source where you can search by a persons name.

If he came in through Canada in 1859 there may be an issue with finding any records. Here is what Ancestry.com has to say about Canadian Passenger Lists.

Passenger lists of ships arriving in various Canadian ports as well as some eastern U.S. ports from 1865–1935 are indexed this database. This collection, covering 2.2 million people who arrived in these ports, has never been indexed before.

The huge majority of passenger arrival lists for the various ports are not online. The records various ports of the US are available through the US National Archives and/or LDS microfilm.
