The following is from the Ål bygdebøk. I haven't been able to make complete sense of it. Can someone translate please?

Anne bar med seg eiga si i ei tine då ho reiste frå Ål for å få seg tenest. I 1865 tente Anne på nordre Flåten i Modum. Anne hadde sonen Erik Colban 1870- til Am. , (ukjent far). Jonas og Anne budde på Hammersborg i Oslo. Jonas var skomakar.

Anne carried her belongings in a box when she left Ål to find work. In 1865 Anne was a servant on nordre Flåten in Modum. Anne had the son Erik Colban 1870 - he went to Amerika, (Unknown father). Jonas and Anne were living at Hammersborg in Oslo, Jonas was a shoemaker.
