The ship Angelo (Wilson line) reached Hull from Christiania per Christiansand Sunday evening 2nd of March or Monday morning 3rd of March 1905. Which ships (and lines) is it likely that a person heading for America would choose for further transport at Hull (when he had a prepaid ticket). Which harbours in America was the most used at this time with the lines departing from Hull (or perhaps Glasgow)?

Most likely Liverpool - New York, arriving 10-12 days after departure.

Thank you, Jan Peter, for your suggestion! I will use it for a more close research, but I have already searched a lot for the person through Ancestry.com, where I have a full membership giving me accsess to a lot of passenger lists of arrivals in the USA. With no result so far. I have seen in the material about the ships that the emigranters in this period to a large extent used ships (around 1905) heading for Canadian harbours. Do you or any others know anything about this and which ports in Great Britain these ships used?
