I have been researching records for an ancestral family in Aukra parish, More og Romsdal county. The records go back to 1785. There is one known ancestor born in 1783. Where would the records have been prior to 1785?

"560 Aukra
I 1589 hadde Aukra prestegjeld 7 kirker og kapell. Aukra og Vågøy kirker hadde prest sammen, Bud og Hustad hadde en residerende kapellan, og Harøy, Sandøy og Ona kirker skulle "betienes aff en domestico sacellano". Bud og Hustad ble eget prestegjeld ved reskript 21.2.1755."

Bud og Hustad var i 1589 sokner i Aukra prestegjeld og ble fradelt som eget prestegjeld ved reskript 21.2.1755.

566.A01 1739-1766 05 Ført kronologsik 1739-1766. Fra 1755 er det innførsler både for Bud og Hustad (fol. 62a), men også før er det innførsler fra Hustad. K 1742-1769 (Bud og Hustad). Ved slutten av hvert år er det oppsummering av hendelser i året (trykt i Årsskrift for Romsdal Sogelag 1968)."
