I am having trouble finding anything beyond
Peter Baade 1715
Daniel Baade
Peter Baade 1631
I would love to know the history of Bo Norway
and the migration with the Baade's.
My grandfather was Kaurin Berg Baade 1881.
Thank you
Is Baade a German name? and Knut

Bø in Hyllestad, Gulen, Sogn og Fjordane

Hi Lory.
Have a lot of the Baade family in Bø.
See my homepage www.boslekt.com
Kaurin Baade was married to Johanna, they were both from Gimstad farm in Bø. Johanna was also of the Baade family, her father was Ole Johan Pettersen Baade. But back to Kaurin and Johanna. The only thing I have noted is that they got 14 children. Do you have the names of the children?
Love to hear from you.
Regards,
Inge Johansen

PS. My great grandmother was Johanna Marie Baade (1817-1848) so guess we are lelated.
