Am hoping that someone will be kind enough to assist with translation of short handwritten minutes of Lutheran Church origination meeting in 1911 by small group of Norwegian homesteaders.

We took our very best shot at it, but haven't quite got it. If you are good at reading 100-year old handwriting, we would very much appreciate your help.

The documents are small, they are online on an as-yet-incomplete webpage, and clicking on them will bring them up to full size for easy viewing.

Thanks very much for anything that you can add or correct:

THANK YOU so much, Einer! As always, you are kind and generous to assist with this. We'd like to give you credit on the website, either in a direct or general way ... as well as credit this website. However, we will defer to your opinion on this of course. We were thinking of something along these lines:
"... with the expert assistance of experienced genealogist Einar Bache, of the Norway Heritage Community at www.norwayheritage.com"
or ... any other credit wording that you would care to give us. We will wait for permission.
Thank you again so much. Preserving these finds for future generations is so worthwhile, as you well know!

Carra,
I value your satisfaction with the help you have got from this website. As you well know there are several persons contributing with findings to the questions who are brought up here.
I think all will agree with me that the best way to give credit will be to highlight the website as such. A good way of showing credit to the website could also be to support it by making donations.
Thank you.

Thank you very much, that's exactly what we'll do!

I value this website greatly ... I did just make my 2011 yearly contribution last night when I posted my request, but forgot to include a memorial message ... I suggested to Børge in 2005 that it would be nice and he implemented it immediately, ... then I forgot to add it this year! Old age I guess!

When I see the number of people who are helped daily by the generous folks on the forum and the vast amount of information that has been put together here and is continually added to, it's hard to believe that each and every person doesn't immediately contribute to the upkeep and continuation of such a wonderful resource in light of the gift of family history that it provides them ... the site and all of the folks like you are true treasures!

Thanks for everything, Carra
