Hello again guys.
I have two conflicting reports about Anders Jakobson Bruvoll. Records say he was born Aug 1846 in Borgund, Lærdal, Sognfjord, Norway. Another record says 17 Oct 1847 was his birthday. His parents were Jakob Johannesson (Bruvoll) and Mette Lasssedtr Nedrekvamshagen. Can ya guys help me with this one?

Anders Jakobsen was born Oct 17 1846, see #147. This is confirmed by the confirmation record #9.
Parents and siblings in 1865.

Its shows on that census record that they lived on the Brovolden Farm, I tried looking for it on Finn Kart but couldn't find it, was it a sub farm of something else?
Also, my records say that Jakob Johannesson married Mette in 1837. Do you guys have a record of that? Thanks

You should look for Husum in Lærdal. Bruvoll is a sub farm under Store Husum, located on the southern side of the river for Store Husum. Zoom in, and it will show up. It doesn't look to be any houses there today.

Don't you want to look for the record yourself? You have everything you need... names, year and location... You should locate it in 5 minutes...

Cool!
Btw; Store Husum is an hotel, and have been a popular resort for Salmon fishermens for more than 150 years. It looks to be closed for business now. The Salmon river running nearby is the Laerdal river ("Lærdalselva").
Husum Hotell pictured before the extension in 1887.
You can use Google Street view to "drive" through the area...

The salmon river which divides Store Husum and Bruvoll on the other side can be pretty wild..., this picture was taken at Husum in June 2011.
Husum is one of the best preserved wooden hotels in Sogn. On Husum farm there has been a hotel and a coaching business since 1835. A coaching inn was a centrally located farm where travelers in the old days could get a horse and carriage for the journey onwards, in addition to a room and board. Towards an remuneration, a coaching inn had certain obligations as to hold enough horses ready for the travelers.

Came across something weird. Is along the Bruvoll side here. One of the siblings to Andres Jakobson Bruvoll, (Johannes Jakobson Bruvoll) was born in Sweden in 1837, another source says he was born in Bruvoll Husum. Another weird thing was that he married someone by the name of Anna Svensdatter (Stina). Is it possible she came from Sweden? Another name is Christine Anna Swanson. I am getting this from 2 different family trees. Unsure. Need some advice or help.
