TO: Stefan R. Gagnon
On 02/14/2006, you inquired about a Rikard Marsensisus Hansen and a brother Johan Alfred Hansen, and their sister Ragna Margrethe Hansen. According to your inquiry all were born in Tune, Norway. I have good reason to believe that Johan Alfred Hansen was (now deceased) my grandfather and I have information on the others as well. In fact, I have a limited family tree that was compiled by a cousin of mine, also probably yours. You may contact me either on my e-mail or through this forum.

Hi! Yes my grandfather and grandmother were married ---I have--- 30 November 1900; His name started as Hansen, and he was the third son of Robert Hansen; who was the 2nd oldest son of Hans Rasmussen (there were eleven sons). His name changed to Robertsen (son of Robert Hansen) and when he went through immigration processes on Ellis Island, it was then changed to Robertson. Robert Hansen had a younger brother by the name of Gunder; about six years younger. His granddaughter, Marie Louise Maher, has compiled a family tree that is quite extensive, although now about 20 years old. My father Carl Robertson, was the only son of Johan Alford (Americanized to John Alfred) , but there were eight sisters. Two of them are still alive and living in MN and CA. Both are in their nineties. Johan Alford's sister, Ragna, also settled in MN and her and her husband had one son and about seven daughters. Some of them are still alive and living in Northern MN I have one brother.
Now I do not know if I am related to either Stefan Gagnon or Carl Savard, but strongly suspect I am; I have attempted to respond to them, but their posts are five and seven years old. And, I do not know if you are related to this family, you being "eibache." But, I would be willing to share what information I have with anyone having an interest. Either contact me here or by e-mail. Thanks.
