Hi,
I've been trying to get into the Links page and it keeps giving me an error.

Thanks, Wanda

We have upgraded the forum last week and some of the old functionally needs to be re-installed. It might take a little time before it is ready.

In addition to the links problem, there is also a problem sending messages to the other Forum members. I get this error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e'
Invalid use of Null: 'cInt'
/snitz/pop_mail.asp, line 68

Regarding the Links error; it can be seen here: http://www.norwayheritage.com/
The shortcut "Links" at the Top does not work: http://www.norwayheritage.com/snitz/links.asp

After the recent changes, there is also a problem posting hyperlinks and images. Instead of the "normal" pop-up box which came up earlier, it now only writes (url)(/url) (in square brackets) directly into the message box.

Thanks for the error reports.

For the moment I am doing all the maintenance and administration etc. etc. of the Norway Heritage site without any help, so it might take a while for me to get everything sorted out.

I'll might get some spare time to work on it during the Christmas holliday. I will try to solve the e-mail error first.

Please keep reporting any errors

Till I get it fixed you will need to paste links between the brackets: click the insert link icon, then: [ url ][ /url ] = [ url ] paste link in this space [ /url ]

Sorry, I had my mind on the functionality when posting in the forum. I don't know if I can get the old link section back

What is probably best is to make a new static page with links. If anyone would like to help, please suggest links here, and I will compile them and upload a new link page.

Sorry for the confusion. I should of been clearer.
For new people, the Links that are the most helpful are the Old Norwegian words dictionaries, the link to the different Norwegian links, such as the Digital Archives, Dis-Norge and the Canadian Immigration link.

I've been referring to this site, since the Links didn't work. This may help.
