Robert may have ended up in Akron Ohio, if this is the same person. Last name spelled Larson not Larsen and parents from Sweden? But still the best fit.

Exceedlinly interesting about Robert L Larson in Auburn, Cayuga County, NY as that is where the James and Anne couple I mentioned in the 1930 US census lived.... |

Here is the 1930 US Census on the James C and Anna C Larson from New York. Anna C is listed as having immigrated in 1882. Very odd indeed.

And even stranger. The passport was issued in Lille, France. It states that her husband James C Larson was working in France for the International Harvester Company. Looking at the passport in more detail, I think that both James and Anna were living in France at the time of the 1920 US Census.

This is possibly James returning to the US, no sign of Anna on the manifest. The manifest lists two items of interest. First is "Location of Naturalization" and he lists: Cayuga County Court, Auburn New York 1910 and secondly "Home Address", he lists 223 1/2 Crosby Street, Akron, Ohio.

And another trip to the US, again no sign of Anna. Same information but this time naturalization date is given as 1915 and home address is listed as Auburn NJ, probably an error and what was meant was Auburn, NY.
New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957 Name: James Larson Arrival Date: 5 Jun 1928 Birth Year: abt 1861 Age: 67 Gender: Male Port of Departure: Le Havre, France Port of Arrival: New York, New York Ship Name: Ile de France |
