Hello.
My greatgrandfather, Friedrich Marx, imigrated in 1868 with his family from Hamburg to Rio de Janeiro aboard the bark Leif.
I would like to know more about this bark, if someone has further informations such as photographs or list of passengers, or others.
Thank you very much and have a Easter season.
Mirx

Norwegian bark Leif build 1868 by H. Abr. Hansen in Skien town, Norway for Chr. Knudsen, he sold the ship in 1874.
Shipmaster from 1868- 74 was Carl Bech.
Some info in English down page.

There were two Norwegian Bark Leif, the first build 1857. Not sure what happened to this ship after 1866, link
