John,
We are going to be in Ireland this summer and we hope to visit Limerick. Is there a Hannah Parr museum or are there sites to see, pertaining to the Hannah Parr? We will be heading to Norway from Ireland. It somehow seems fitting! :-)

Hi Lisicat, Just popped in out of the rain this Limerick "summer" and sending this by phone so forgive the big thumb typos. Great to hear you will swing by Limerick & no there is not a Museum Hannah Parr related "show" What has proven more enjoyable and occasionally highly emotional is a trip around the City to the places the Norwegian visitors also saw. The Milk Market is a good starting point and the Sally Mills Tea Room have kindly agreed to keep on show some local items of interest and where any one can pick up a leaflet and map with details of locations and events recorded in Clair & Jims modern Norse saga. The local guide leaflet is free of charge at Sally Mills who has a great following despite the fact it was a Quaker corn & flour mill. A Limerick welcome worked then and still works. One of the beneficial spinoffs of Clair & Jims vision was the reengagement of local families including the Sally Mills company, the owners are relatives of the Alexander's, Maunsells, Jacobs who feature as being of some use during the Hanna Parr stop over. I will post a link to the downloadable commentary and map if Norway Heritage have no objection. Clair often mentioned getting over here hopefully he gained some satisfaction from local Limerick interest. I will follow up later with details and emaile with the dates you plan visiting the city of Limerick
