I am trying to find where the first wife of my great grandfather Hans Kostad came from in Norway.

I do know that his wife's name was Mina Jacobson and she was born April 25, 1891. I would like to try to find out who her parents were and where she came from in Norway.

Hans came to America in the 1890s and went back to Norway in our around 1914. Mina and he were married in Lignite, ND in about 1916.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mina Jakobsen left Norway March 15 1916.

Her baptismal record is #6 (at bottom of page). She was born in Nannestad, Akershus.
Her parents were Martin Jakobsen and Elise Marie Olsdatter.

In 1900 the family were living on the farm Borgen in Ullensaker, Akershus.

Minas parents were married Oct 31 1890, see #10.

How far would the Borgen farm have been from Ullensaker? Or is Ullensaker not an actual "town"
