My great grandfather, Anton Johnson (born Dec 1854), emigrated in 1882 from Norway to Minnesota. His daughter, Casie or Cassie (born Dec 1875) emigrated the same year. I assume they traveled together. My great grandmother, Andrina (or Androna) Johnson, emigrated in 1883 and may have traveled with a son, Ole, age 2. I'm not sure where to start searching for ship manifests. I do not have the name of the ship and I do not know where they came from in Norway. I have found them on several censuses, but don't have any other information. Is it impossible for me to find anything with such limited information? If it's not evident, I'm new to this Thank you in advance for any tips you can give me.

Census-1900 says Andrine is the mother of 10 children (6 living).
Could this be her emigration on 28.09.1882?
Andrine M. Jens. married, female 28 Kr.ania Eau Claire Krantz Angelo Ppd
Kasper Jens. child, male 6 Kr.ania Eau Claire Krantz Angelo Ppd
Gunda Jens. child, female 4 Kr.ania Eau Claire Krantz Angelo Ppd
Sigurd Jens. child, male 2 Kr.ania Eau Claire Krantz Angelo Ppd
Trygve Jens. child, male 11m Kr.ania Eau Claire

Anton Jensen leaving alone on 21.04.1882

Not sure if this is your family. But could the male Kasper above be the girl Antonie Caspara, ie. your Cassie?
Ole could be Olaf Trygve, listed as Trygve in the emigration protocol...

Arrival Quebec 18 Oct 1882 on the ship DOMINION:
JENSEN, A M
JENSEN, Casper 6
JENSEN, Gunde 4
JENSEN, Sigurd 2
JENSEN, Irygre Inft

Indexed as Casper, but it could be Caspera... ie Cassie.

Marriage record #55, 16 Aug 1874, Vestre Aker church, Oslo:
Bachelor, factoryworker Anton Jensen & girl Andrine Mathilde Andreasdatter
Grom: Born Sagene (District in Oslo), residence Bjølsenjordet (?)., Born 24 Dec 1853. Father: Jens Christensen.
Bride: Born Lakkegaden (Street in Oslo), Born 21 May 1854. Father Andreas Jensen.

Census-1900 says Anton is born Dec 1854, Andrine born May 1854.
It seems like this could be the right people. Have you ever heard of the other two children in the emigration record..., Gunda and Sigurd?

This may be the birth record of the youngest child b abt 1893 in the 1900 census listing of Anton Johnson:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FDMX-MB3

Here is the family in the 1900 census. Some of the children were born in US in Wisconsin:

Andrea Mathilde born May 21 1854 was an "uægte" (born out of wedlock) child. See #150.
Her mother was Marthe Olsdatter and her father (who had died before the child was born) was Andreas Johnsen.

Marthe Olsdatter and Andreas Johnsen were engaged to be married 1853, see #117. Andreas died from cholera Sept 19 1853.

Thank you so much to everyone who responded to my inquiry. I was never notified of any response and just became aware of it today.
