| I can't help with the line including Gjerdrum 1844 but the parts above it are the date Karen's mum was allowed--introduced or reintroduced in church. Back in the bad old days women who had given birth were considered unclean until "churched". |

#17. This could be another one of Thor and Kari's children, although the name is unclear and could use help with the translation. Can see the 31st of May, Thor Larsen Smedstadhaug, Guilbrand L Smedstad, and Ingebor Larsdatter.

Having difficulty reading anything else. There is an entry on the right that shows something about 1844.

Is 31 May the birth or baptismal date? I'm pretty certain this is a child of Thor Larsen and Kari Larsdatter.

| Since there appears to be only one date, I'd guess baptismal. If there were 2 dates the earlier date would be the birth, the later date the baptism. |

Thor Larsen, b.1745 in Smedstad and Kari Larsdatter, b.1748(?) - I found an engagement record, but need confirmation of the details. See #3:

The dates of Feb 4 and April 6 are given. Is Feb 4 the date of engagement?
What is the name of the place Kari hails from? I have not been able to locate birth information on her in the Gjerdrum parish records. |

Thor Larsen, Smedstad and Kari Larsdatter, Hønsi were (troloved) engaged Febr 4 and (copulered) married April 6 1774.
