Born in Nannestad, Akershus, Norway Sept. 18 1862 and his wife Anne Marie born Andreasdatter or Anderdatter, born in Gran, Hadeland, Oppland, Norway, Oct. 9 1867. We can find several listings in Akershus, several places they lived and their children, some of them, incl. my grandfather Hans Martin Olsen (Andreassen) born Aug. 8 1906.
But we can't find more information about their ancestors, their parents and other relatives.
Does anyone have a tip on how to track them further back in time?
Have a good weekend!

Keep track of the names of the faddernes of the children's baptisms--sometimes are relatives.

Baptismal record for Andreas Olsen #112 - he was an "uægte" child. His father was Ole Olsen from Høland and the mother was Karen Kirstine Hansdatter also from Høland.

The family in 1900.

In a note for the baptism of Ole Kristian, see #8 it says that Andreas and Anne Marie were married In Brandbu 1886, but no evidence was found.

Yes i found them in the 1900, and thank you again, funny to see Andreas and Anne Marie probably got married in 1886, and it looks like Ole Kristian was born out of wedlock actually, looks like it's written "uægte" not ægte.

The confirmation record for Andreas Arnesen says he was born at Gubberudeiet in Vardal, his parents being Arne and Maria, see #32.

Andreas Arnesen and his bride to be in 1865.

Thank you for all the information. A surprise that Dagny was Karen's daughter, we thought she was a foster child to the family. You must be at guru in this! I have found Andras and Anne Marie in the 1910 census and also Hans Martin's baptismal records earlier. Everything you send is useful!
